George Shake, a partner with Duffee + Eitzen, L.L.P., has been practicing law in the Dallas/Fort Worth area since graduating from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. He practices family law and special education law. George received undergraduate degrees in English Literature and Business from the City University of New York. George received a Master’s degree in School Psychology from the University of North Texas and became licensed to practice school psychology.

He worked with families directly for several years, assessing children and helping parents and schools to create educational programs for those children. George developed specialties in ADHD and Autism and has participated in countless special education meetings, discipline meetings, and teacher conferences. He has held administrative positions in several local public schools. He has written policies and trained school personnel to comply with federal and state regulations for serving children with special needs.

George has been working on behalf of individuals with disabilities for twenty-five years and training professionals throughout the Dallas area for fifteen years. George’s work in family law often involves families with children with disabilities.

Jennifer Leister, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor, has a private practice in Dallas where she specializes in children, adolescents, and family therapy. She is a trained collaborative professional, parent coordinator, parent facilitator, and reunification therapy expert. She has been in the field since 1998 when her career began as an Investigator for Dallas County Child Protective Services. Once she completed her Master’s Degree she spent time seeing clients at the Collin County Children’s Advocacy Center where she was trained in Play Therapy. She has also facilitated chemical dependency treatment in outpatient services for a few years before starting her private practice 13 years ago. In 2014 Mrs. Leister published two children’s books, “Meet Max, A Basset Hounds Perspective to Divorce” and “Max Meets Emma, a Basset Hound’s Perspective to Blended Families” to help families talk with their children during these times of change.

He uses only certified laboratories to test his samples and with his lab choices he can always back up his finding. He has personally visited the labs and watched all steps of the testing process.  Chris’s company also offers DNA testing whether it be for a paternity case or for a crime case. Chris has testified in many high-profile cases and has always been able to explain to the results and had backup from the lab.  Chris holds and MBA from Texas State University.
