Lacy Durham


Lacy Durham is a Manager at Deloitte Tax, LLP a subsidiary of Deloitte and Touche. Lacy’s area focuses primarily on Employee Benefits, Executive Compensation, and Tax. She assists clients with the design, funding, administration, financial analysis, communication, mitigation strategies, and IRS and DOL compliance of employee benefit plans. In addition, as a consultant, she also advises clients on a variety of other human resource and employment related issues.
Lacy received her B.B. A’s. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, and received her MBA from Louisiana Tech University. Lacy earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Southern University Law Center and an LLM in Taxation from Southern Methodist University School of a Law. Lacy is an active member of the legal community. She is admitted to practice law in both Louisiana and Texas.
Lacy has been appointed to several positions in the State Bar of Texas and is a Minority Director for the Texas Young Lawyers Association. Lacy is also a member of the National Bar Association, the Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, the Baton Rouge Bar Association and the J.L. Turner Legal Association. Her involvement is varied. She holds offices and serves on several committees in the various bar associations. She has selected in March 2010 by the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers as the “One to Watch”. Lacy is also a graduate of several distinguished Leadership classes. Lacy is an American Bar Association (ABA) Business Law Section Fellow and an past Young Lawyer Division Scholar. Her other professional activities include the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) and the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA).
Lacy is an avid believer of molding and positively influencing our youth. She volunteers her time with Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas, Junior Achievement, and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Lacy enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, supporting all things related to the arts, and promoting diversity. Her personal motto is that “you must always sign your work with excellence.”
