Ms. Bell has been with Texas Lawyers for Children as a Program Attorney since 2016. Licensed with the Texas State Bar since 2005, Ms. Bell spent two years with local firms before changing career paths and joining Lewisville ISD for eight years, where she was named the LISD & Region XI Secondary Teacher of the Year in 2014. She received her undergraduate degree in English Literature from the University of North Texas in Denton and her law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law. Ms. Bell is an outspoken advocate for child welfare, and especially the needs of traumatized children in the state system.
