For more than 25 years, Hilda Galvan, a nationally recognized trial lawyer who focuses on complex intellectual property litigation, has represented plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state courts across the country. She has served as lead counsel for companies in the enforcement of their patent portfolios as well as in defending against allegations of infringement.  Chambers noted that Hilda is prized by clients for her ability to "bring experience and strategy" to IP disputes arising in the electronics and software sectors. IAM magazine identified Hilda as a "powerhouse litigator" and lauded her "extensive experience in big-ticket patent litigation."
After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso, Hilda practiced as an engineer in the telecommunications industry.  She later obtained her J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. Shortly after graduating from law school, Hilda became a registered Patent Attorney.  Her practice includes practing before the U.S.P.T.O, representing clients in ex parte reexaminations as well as IPR and CBM proceedings.
Hilda places a high priority on community service. She is immediate past chair of the board of the Dallas Regional Chamber, serves on the board of trustees of the University of Texas School of Law, and on the boards of Parkland Hospital Foundation, Dallas Women's Foundation, and the Dallas Hispanic Law Foundation. Hilda was named one of "The Most Powerful Business Leaders" in Dallas-Fort Worth" by D CEO .She e Managing Partner of the Dallas Office of Jones Day and serves on the firm’s Advisory Committee.
