Hershel Chapin
Hershel Chapin has practiced law at the intersection of state and federal court litigation and bankruptcy since 2010. Early in his career, he worked alongside esteemed legal heavyweights Bankruptcy Judge Phillips (formerly of Middle District of LA) and Bankruptcy Judge Hale (currently of Northern District of Texas). He is proud to be active in the Dallas Bar Association, has authored numerous Dallas Bar Headnotes articles, and he currently is Chair of the Ethics Committee.
He has managed his law firm for 5 years. Other accolades include: he has been a member in the Honorable John C. Ford American Inn of Court since 2013, a member of the State Bar of Texas College of Law since 2014, and a member of the Pro Bono College of Texas since 2010. He has been named as a 2018 D Magazine "Best Lawyer Under 40." He currently handles all types of civil cases including collections law, consumer law, construction, real estate, fraudulent transfers, appeals, bankruptcy law, securities regulations, and small capitalizations and transactions.
