Beverly Goulet practiced law in Dallas for 13 years before joining American Airlines in 1993 as Associate General Counsel - Corporate Finance. Bev became American’s Vice President of Corporate Development and Treasurer in 20002, and in November 2011 was named American’s Chief Restructuring Officer coincident with American’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. In that capacity Bev led American’s restructuring, focused on revenue maximization, cost reduction and balance sheet strength. She led the analysis of and participated extensively in the negotiation of American’s merger with US Airways, which was consummated concurrently with American’s emergence from Chapter 11 in December 2013. Bev then led the integration of American and US Airways before retiring from American in June 2017. She now serves on the Boards of Rolls Royce plc and Xenia Hotels & Resorts and is involved in several not-for-profit activities.
