This CLE presentation will cover select hot topics that health care attorneys are facing given the exploding aesthetic industry. Jay Reyero and Sam Pondrom of ByrdAdatto, PLLC, will discuss the most common issues faced including the practice of medicine, scope of practice, and supervision and delegation. They will present on personal experiences with these topics in representing doctors and dentists, and the business people working with doctors and dentists.

Jay Reyero is a partner and Samuel Pondrom is an associate at ByrdAdatto, PLLC law firm in Dallas, Texas. Their practice focuses on business and regulatory transactional matters. They have experience counseling and advising physicians, dentists, other medical service providers, and ancillary businesses with respect to federal and state healthcare regulations that impact investments, transactions and various contractual arrangements. In particular, they focus on state and federal anti-referral, anti-kickback, complex fraud and abuse compliance, corporate practice of medicine and corporate practice of dentistry.
After graduating from Oklahoma State, an intrinsic sense of curiosity and a keen eye for details led Sam to work as an accountant for two Engineering-News Record top 40 construction firms. It was here where he honed his ability to analyze complex issues and craft clear, concise answers. Sam utilizes these skills to work in partnership with our clients to resolve their complex business and regulatory concerns in the most simple, straightforward way.
Outside of the office, Sam enjoys cooking, playing basketball, running, watching Oklahoma State football and Dallas Mavericks basketball, traveling, and trying new restaurants. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
