Ashton Butcher, Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP

Ashton Barrineau Butcher is an associate in the corporate practice, focusing on public and private mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, corporate governance, and general corporate and securities matters.

Practice & Background
Ms. Butcher received her B.A. with special honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 2011 and her J.D. magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 2014, where she was associate managing editor for the SMU Law Review. While in law school, she served as an extern for The Honorable Catharina Haynes of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and as an intern with The Honorable Reed O’Connor and The Honorable A. Joe Fish, both of the United States District Court, Northern District of Texas. Ms. Butcher also served as a tutor for 1L Property in SMU’s Academic Skills Assistance Program.

Kyle Park, Jones Day

Kyle Park's practice focuses on domestic and international M&A, private equity, and general corporate and securities matters. He also provides general corporate counseling to companies, including on general corporate governance issues and commercial contracts.

Kyle has advised clients in various industries, including energy, pharmaceutical products, consumer products, and real estate. He is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association.
